The Fruits of Your Life are the Mirror of Your Beliefs

By David Taylor

The Bible profoundly states that you will know a
tree by the fruit it bears. You see, a tree may claim to be an apple
tree, but unless it produces apples, its claim is empty. The proof it
is an apple tree is when it produces the apples. So are our lives as
Christians. We can claim to be a Christian, but unless we are
producing the fruits of a Christian life, that claim is empty. We are
a Christian when we produce the fruit of a Christian life. Some of the
fruit a Christian produces is found in the book of Galatians, the 5th
chapter, the 22nd and 23rd verses.

These become the outward evidence of our inward commitment to Christ.
You see, my friend, the fact is if we really believe what we claim to
believe, we will live out that belief each and every day in our life.
The more passionately we believe in something, the more passionately
we live out those beliefs in our daily life.

My goal today is simply to force you to reflect on
the beliefs you hold and how you live out those beliefs in the course
of your daily life. I get discouraged to see people who are clearly
lost, living out their beliefs with passion each day. Those who are
lost and blinded by sin, will passionately commit their lives each day
to living out the sinful path they have chosen to walk. Nothing stops
them. Nothing gets in their way. They are focused and will not be
deterred. However, those who profess a faith in Christ, believe the
Bible to be true, will waver, will meekly and shyly tiptoe through
their day, actually making sure nobody ever really knows what it is
they believe.

LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO NOT LIVE PASSIONATELY FOR CHRIST
EACH AND EVERY DAY, IF INDEED THAT IS WHAT YOU REALLY BELIEVE!!!
